Workshops and Collaborative Projects



July 2015: 'There & Back', digitised video of 35mm film: A film painting workshop conducted by Stewart Collinson for ages 16-19 years, painting directly onto 35mm film with inks, paints, pens and brushes. A soundtrack was later composed from archive field recordings and processed guitar by Stewart Collinson and Bradley Oliver-White. This project was part of A.L.E and the workshop film debuted at Reel A.L.E: A (Screen-based) Landscape Exhibition.


June 2015: Map design for 'Cartography', a Flickbook Theatre production travelling to Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015. Festival goers are invited to plot memories on the fabric streets of Edinburgh to reminisce on festival pastimes.



March 2015: 'Once upon a time on Earth...', super-short stop-motion film: A short animated film made by young people at Teenage Takeover Day, responding to 'ARTIST ROOMS: Vija Celmins', a TATE touring exhibition at National Centre for Craft and Design, Sleaford, UK.

March 2015: 'Saturday Club Animated', stop-motion film: A compilation of three short animated films by members of National Art & Design Saturday Club at the University of Lincoln. The film debuted at Somerset House, London, as part of the National Art & Design Saturday Club Summer Exhibition 2015.




August 2013: 'Coleby Animation Club', stop-motion film: A collection of short animated films made by pupils at Coleby (C of E) Primary School, who designed 2D characters, backdrops and props, wrote scripts, directed a short film in small groups and recorded a soundtrack using an iPad. The film was premiered at the end of term to the rest of school, and each pupil received their own custom-designed DVD.
